Best Resume Writing Compostion Tips

Best Resume Writing Compostion TipsYou may have heard about the use of effective and proven resume writing techniques, but did you also know that you could actually be doing yourself a great service by simply taking the time to learn more about it? The best resume writing compotion is one that is practical and able to work. Here are some tips that can help you get started. The best resume writing compotion begins with identifying the characteristics of the person that you are trying to hire. It is important to realize that your ability to write the resume should reflect how you would want your potential employee to portray himself or herself. Try to think of your hiring purposes in relation to this notion. For example, if your needs are focused on something to do with just having a job, you will want to take advantage of the strength of your resume in making this point. One way to help you with this is to keep it short. You can add in a list of your best strengths but keep it short eno ugh to not take up a lot of space. Also, don't go overboard, and be sure to remain objective when choosing your strengths. For a more personal approach, consider an individual who has a lot of creative and interesting person skills. Let this person make his or her own resume highlighting these strong points. When you find yourself making some compelling points to use in your own resume, use the example of that person and use it as the basis for yours.Always remember that the skills that you are looking for when you write a resume are not the same as those of the person that you are applying for. You might need to look at what it is that they are good at. For example, if your goals are for someone to be able to do some type of physical labor, you might not be looking for someone who can write a good resume in that area. The best resume writing composition uses several tools to be able to highlight strengths. This includes the use of subheadings, bulleted lists, bullet points, and every thing else in between. This makes sure that the resume has plenty of descriptive power that can help someone evaluate the person that you are trying to hire them instead. The inclusion of all the strong points can help bring the communication to a whole new level. This can provide for a clearer understanding of why a resume is so useful and what is wanted from the person that you are writing it for. For the best results, include the strengths that your goals for your hiring are centered around, along with the best of what you can offer in relation to those goals.Take some time to learn about resume writing and to get more comfortable with it. Remember that it is a skill that can be used and improved upon. With the right training and the proper application of your skills, you can ensure that your potential hires will enjoy your company far more than they could have without it.

What is Your Definition of Recruitment Marketing

What is Your Definition of Recruitment Marketing We bring you yet another panel of ten experts and this time were talking all things recruitment marketing. But what is recruitment marketing I hear you say? I mean, it sounds pretty obvious going by its title but is it? We asked our  experts to give us their own definition of it, see if you agree. Joe Shaker   Recruitment Marketing is how you present yourself to candidates â€" from the message, to the deployment and the candidate experience. . . Joe Shaker is the President of Shaker Recruitment Marketing. Maren Hogan Recruitment marketing is the natural, tactical extension of employer branding. It’s the art of attracting someone not just to the company but to a specific job and team. It includes everything that traditional marketing does including: traditional advertising, digital ads, copywriting, graphic design and audio-visual components. It should also be measured the same way we measure traditional marketing including how qualified a lead is and what it costs to get a conversion. Maren Hogan  is CEO and Founder of Red Branch Media. Jared Nypen Recruitment marketing is how a company markets their employer brand to attract and engage talent on their journey to becoming an applicant. . . Jared Nypen is the Vice-President of talent at Great Clips inc. Lisa Jones A crucial function designed to attract, engage, convert and retain your 3Cs candidates, clients, colleagues. . . . Lisa Jones is the  Founder and Director of Barclay Jones. Mark Cavanagh Recruitment Marketing has traditionally been defined under a single purpose, ‘I have a role to fill, please help me advertise it and fill it’. For us, this definition has taken a beating in recent years, with the recruitment industry more competitive than ever, marketing has been brought in to explore new ways to attract talent and assist in the construction of employer brand. If I were to define the new age of recruitment marketing I would describe it as the ‘Talent Acquisition Toolbox which cannot be described as a single activity, but more a range of evolutionary practices which can adapt to meet the needs of a growing business, these are likely track the marketing practices of much larger and more sophisticated organisations. Mark Cavanagh is the Marketing Manager at The One Group. Charlotte Jones Recruitment Marketing  is how an organization attracts, connects and engages with talent to convey the value of the company as an employer.  Recruitment marketing activities are all about creating meaningful, long-term experiences with prospective employees, current employees and exiting employees as they are the target audience of all activities. Much like marketing or product management, recruitment marketing should be managed as a business strategy that’s aligned with human capital strategiesâ€"enabling business profitability and success. Charlotte  Jones is the Recruitment Marketing Manager at Lockheed Martin. Phil Strazzulla Recruitment Marketing is using marketing tactics in your talent acquisition efforts. This can cover anything from paid advertising to talent communities, career sites, employer branding content, and basically any other idea your VP of Marketing would have if they were leading the charge on recruiting. Phil Strazzulla is the Founder of NextWave Hire. Shelby Burghardt Recruitment Marketing is a strategy that allows organizations to find, attract, and engage with potential candidates. The goal is to encourage active and passive job seekers to learn about the company, what it would be like to work there, then to apply for a role and join the organization. A recruitment marketing strategy is also a great way for a potential candidate to determine if they would be a good fit for the organization and its culture. Shelby Burghardt is the Global Talent Brand Manager at Thomson Reuters. Rebecca Drew Recruitment marketing is the application of marketing strategies and tactics to showcase your talent brand the highly social, totally public version of your company’s employer brand, to find, attract, engage and nurture the right talent for your business before they decide to apply for a job. Young Women Are the Most Bored at Work. Heres What We Can Do About it (Part 2) - Hallie Crawford

Young Women Are the Most Bored at Work. Here’s What We Can Do About it (Part 2) Hallie was honored to be featured in a recent Glamour.com article about how to avoid being bored at work. As a follow up to this article, we wanted to share some additional tips with you. Many women feel bored at work, and there could be several reasons for this. Their job may not be meeting their career values and therefore theyre not motivated inherently by their work. Others may not feel like theyre making a difference- or the difference they want to be making. Others may not be fully aware of the skills they want to use and develop, and their jobs are not leveraging those skills so they dont feel they are growing professionally. Sometimes women, more than men, dont know what their career goals are or lack career direction because in some cases they may not have been encouraged early on to consider what they wanted to do professionally, so they may not be in the right career fit, or bored because they lack focus and an agenda for what they want to achieve. Here are three things you can do to avoid feeling bored at work: 1. Identify your values. When women identify and align their career with their career values, they will have more career direction, a better sense of their identity professionally, and understand what their career goals need to be. Having a job aligned with your values gives you a sense of reward and fulfillment that goes beyond any day to day frustrations or boredom you might have at work. 2. Get inspired by others creativity. Look at posts from other women who inspire you, whether this be a life story or a DIY project on Pinterest to get new creative ideas on how to approach your tasks at work. Identify women you admire whose qualities you want to adopt or emulate, and whose career gives you a sense of what youd like to aspire to. 3. Spend time with positive colleagues. Spend more time with people at work you admire, who are doing new things, are creative and inspiring. Use your time with them to come up with new ways to approach your tasks at work. Take time each week to have lunch with a friend outside of work as well. Make sure you have a blend of time inside and outside the office to mix things up, beat boredom, and come back to the office re-energized. Finally, find another job. If you find that your job doesnt fulfill any of your work values and nothing takes away your boredom after 4-6 months, it may be time to find another job.
